The "PRIMER PRODUCTS" Range by BAYRIS
The BAYRIS Group is pleased to present another new development – the updated and expanded range of primers for mineral surfaces, “PRIMER PRODUCTS”. After more than a year of coordinated teamwork, the result is finally here – a comprehensive range of high-quality products featuring a unified design and standardised labelling. The range includes six products manufactured using premium-quality raw materials sourced from the EU and leading Ukrainian suppliers.
The “PRIMER PRODUCTS” range by BAYRIS offers a complete solution for priming a wide variety of surfaces and preparing them for subsequent filling, painting, wallpapering, tiling and other finishing works.
The “PRIMER PRODUCTS” portfolio includes both well-known products that have been available on the market since 2009 and have now been improved and updated to meet modern standards, as well as entirely new developments from the BAYRIS Group production division – the VEMAKO manufacturing plant.
New Developments:
“Profi Grunt” PR5 Multifunctional Primer (Deep Penetrating).
Product Overview: a high-polymer-content product designed to increase the strength of all types of fine-porous, loose mineral surfaces with high absorbency (lightweight concrete, plaster, gypsum and brick substrates, etc.).
Penetrates deeply and strengthens the surface, equalises substrate absorbency and reduces the consumption of subsequent decorative and protective materials. Improves the adhesion of subsequent coatings to the substrate. After drying, it forms a colourless film that does not impair vapour permeability.
“Silikat Grunt” PR3 Silicate Primer Concentrate 1:4 (Deep Penetrating).
Product Overview: an effective solution for strengthening mineral surfaces, reducing water absorption and supporting architectural restoration projects.
Particularly effective for strengthening and reducing the absorbency of mineral substrates such as plaster, screeds, sand-lime brick and similar materials, as well as for the restoration of architectural heritage buildings. Suitable for both interior and exterior use.
The product penetrates deeply and strengthens the surface, equalises substrate absorbency and reduces the consumption of subsequent decorative and protective materials. Improves adhesion between the substrate and future coatings. After drying, it forms a colourless film with excellent vapour permeability.

“Uni Grunt” PR2 Universal Primer.
Product Overview: designed for preparing all types of highly absorbent mineral surfaces before filling, painting, wallpapering, tiling and other finishing works.
Recommended for equalising substrate absorbency and improving the adhesion strength of decorative materials to mineral surfaces. Suitable for both interior and exterior applications.
“DP Grunt” PR3 Deep Penetrating Primer.
Product Overview: designed to improve the strength of all types of fine-porous, loose mineral surfaces with high absorbency prior to plastering and painting works.
The product penetrates deeply and strengthens the surface, equalises substrate absorbency and reduces the consumption of subsequent decorative and protective materials. After drying, it forms a colourless film that does not impair vapour permeability.
“Bio Stop” Antiseptic Treatment (For Mineral Surfaces).
Product Overview: designed for mineral surfaces to disinfect and prevent the development of algae, mould fungi, blue stain and other biological contamination before plastering and painting works.
Its specialised formulation provides long-lasting protection. Particularly recommended for damp environments such as kitchens, bathrooms and basements, as well as poorly ventilated areas. Suitable for both interior and exterior use.
“DPA Grunt” PR3 Anti-Mould Primer (Deep Penetrating).
Product Overview: designed to increase the strength of all types of fine-porous, loose mineral surfaces with high absorbency. Helps prevent the growth of bacteria and mould fungi.
Used to equalise substrate absorbency and improve the adhesion strength of decorative materials to mineral surfaces.
Recommended for use in areas with elevated humidity levels, such as kitchens, bathrooms and basements, as well as in poorly ventilated spaces. Suitable for both interior and exterior applications.
