“Super Plasticiser” For Concrete and Screeds by Bayris

Bayris “Super Plasticiser” is a universal superplasticiser designed to improve the workability and plasticity of concrete mixes while significantly reducing the water content in the mix. Recommended for use in all types of concrete (reinforced and non-reinforced), mortar mixes and dry construction mixtures. Suitable for screeds, monolithic construction, masonry and other construction applications.

“Super Plasticiser” is added during the production of ready-mix, decorative and hydraulic concrete, machine-laid concrete, above-ground and underground engineering structures, as well as reinforced concrete products. It can also be used in concrete screeds (especially for underfloor heating systems), self-levelling and poured floors. Suitable for stressed concrete structures (ceilings, beams, columns), precast concrete production and other concrete products such as cement-sand bricks, concrete blocks, paving stones, fences, kerbs and paving slabs, particularly in densely reinforced areas where high mix workability is essential.

Bayris Superplasticiser helps disperse cement particles within the concrete mix, significantly increasing its workability and plasticity, which makes the concreting process easier and more efficient. Reduces the amount of mixing water by up to 15% while simultaneously improving strength, water resistance, frost resistance and crack resistance of finished concrete products. Prevents efflorescence during service life. Does not cause corrosion of metal elements. Provides cost savings in mix production by reducing cement consumption.

Before use, thoroughly mix the plasticiser, dilute it in 50% of the recommended amount of water required for preparing the concrete mix and stir again. Gradually add to the concrete or mortar mix. Ensure even distribution of the additive by thorough mixing. Add the remaining water in small portions until the required mix plasticity is achieved. Apply at substrate and ambient temperatures between +5 °C and +30 °C.

Not recommended for direct addition to dry components.

The plasticiser should be used at a dosage of 0.2–0.4 L per 50 kg of cement. The dosage depends on the required properties of the concrete mix and the ambient temperature. It is recommended to carry out on-site testing to determine the optimal dosage.
