Delfin Acrylic Water Repellent Impregnation by Bayris

DELFIN Acrylic Water Repellent Treatment by Bayris is designed for application to concrete, reinforced concrete, fibre-cement products, brick, stone, cement-sand renders, ceramic products and fences to provide a durable water-repellent finish. Suitable for both interior and exterior use.

DELFIN by Bayris is a ready-to-use product with no strong odour and no toxic substances. It penetrates deeply into the substrate and creates a transparent, vapour-permeable coating with a “wet stone” effect. Once dry, the coating effectively repels water and provides a self-cleaning effect. It protects against UV radiation and weathering. It also helps reduce the risk of efflorescence, algae, moss, mould and blue stain fungi.

Prepare the substrate in accordance with applicable construction standards and best practice. The surface must be visibly clean, dry and free from loose material. If necessary, remove dirt, dust, grease, biological contamination and other impurities.

Apply when the substrate and ambient temperature are between +8°C and +30°C (avoiding direct sunlight) and relative humidity is between 50% and 80%. Do not dilute with water. Stir thoroughly before use. Apply evenly in a continuous “wet-on-wet” method using a brush, masonry brush, roller or spray equipment until the substrate is fully saturated. Clean tools with water immediately after use.

The manufacturer accepts no liability for direct or indirect losses resulting from product use, as it is not possible to control all application conditions.

Approximately 0.1–0.2 L/m² per coat depending on the type of surface and its absorbency.

Avoid direct contact with skin and eyes. In case of contact, rinse thoroughly with plenty of water. Seek medical advice if necessary. Construction waste must not be disposed of in general household waste containers. Dispose of waste materials in accordance with local regulations. Empty containers and liquid residues should be taken to authorised hazardous waste collection facilities.

The VOC content of DELFIN Acrylic Water Repellent Treatment by Bayris complies with VOC emission limit requirements for primers, with a maximum permitted level of 30 g/L. The actual VOC content of the ready-to-use product does not exceed 9 g/L.
