Description and Properties
Acrylic Finishing Putty “Master Putz” TM “Bayris” is a ready-to-use product designed for preparing perfectly smooth walls and ceilings indoors on concrete, cement, cement-lime, gypsum and plasterboard substrates before painting or wallpapering. “Master Putz” Acrylic Putty TM “Bayris” is elastic and vapour permeable, easy to apply and sand, and ideal for both manual and machine application.
Surface Preparation
The substrate for filling must be solid, dust-free and degreased. Highly absorbent and weakly absorbent substrates should be reinforced before filling with “Profi Grunt” by TM Bayris according to the instructions.
Product Preparation
Before use, the material should be thoroughly mixed with a low-speed drill fitted with a basket mixer to avoid air entrapment.
For manual application:
Use the product in its ready-to-use form. If the product thickens due to high air temperature during application or because of highly absorbent substrates, dilute with up to 3% clean water.
For machine application:
Depending on the equipment used, dilute with up to 5% clean water.
Application
Application should be carried out at substrate and ambient temperatures above +10°C. Apply layers 1–3 mm thick in a single application. Subsequent layers should only be applied after the previous layer has hardened. Drying time for a 1 mm layer (at +20°C and 65% relative humidity) is approximately 4 hours.
Sand the dry surface with sandpaper or mesh abrasive, remove dust, prime and paint. Recommended abrasive grit size is 150. Panels coated with enamels should be sanded before filling to create adhesion. Recommended abrasive grit size is 80–100.
Do not use in rooms with high humidity.
Immediately after finishing work, clean tools and equipment with water.

Safety Measures and Disposal
Avoid direct contact of the product with skin and eyes. In case of contact, rinse thoroughly with plenty of water. Seek medical advice if necessary.
Construction waste must not be disposed of in general household waste containers. Waste disposal should be carried out in accordance with national and international standards. Containers and liquid material residues must be taken to specialised hazardous waste collection points.
