Description and properties
Universal Rubber Paint “MULTI FLEXIBLE PAINT” by TM “Bayris” is suitable for painting fences, plinths, brick and stone masonry, facades, roofs, downpipes, gutters and drainage channels, residential and non-residential premises, bathroom and kitchen walls, corridors, retail facilities, playgrounds, sports complexes, healthcare buildings and similar environments. It can also be used for repairing cracks or holes in roofs, drainage systems and pipes.
“MULTI FLEXIBLE PAINT” by TM “Bayris” is designed for both exterior and interior decorative and protective coating of brickwork, pre-primed ferrous metal, natural stone, timber and surfaces previously coated with oil-based or alkyd paints.
The paint can also be used on galvanised metal, slate roofing, onduline sheets, roof tiles and other fibre-cement and asbestos-cement products.
Product and surface preparation
Before application, thoroughly stir the paint until a homogeneous consistency is achieved. The substrate must be degreased, visually clean, dry, free from dust and rust, and cleared of any loose or deteriorated coatings.
Corroded surfaces and ferrous metals should be primed beforehand with GF-021 Primer. Highly absorbent mineral substrates should be treated with “BAYRIS” Deep Penetrating Acrylic Primer.
Surfaces older than 10 years or affected by moss, mould or lichen should be additionally treated with “BIOSTOP” Antiseptic Primer by “BAYRIS” before priming.
Application
Application should be carried out at substrate and ambient temperatures between +10°C and +30°C and relative humidity not exceeding 80%.
If required, the paint may be diluted with water by up to 5% for the first coat to achieve the desired application viscosity.
Universal Rubber Paint “MULTI FLEXIBLE PAINT” by TM “Bayris” should be applied evenly in thin coats using a brush, roller* (except on slate roofing) or high-pressure spray equipment. Apply 2–3 coats, allowing a minimum interval of 2 hours between coats.
ATTENTION!
Freshly applied paint must be protected from weather exposure for 12–24 hours, depending on weather conditions.
The coating achieves full wear resistance after one month. To maintain colour consistency, the manufacturer recommends mixing paint from different production batches before use.
Designed for the decorative and protective coating of fences, plinths, brick and stone masonry, facades, roofs, downpipes, gutters and drainage channels, as well as residential and non-residential premises.
