Description and properties

Professional Paving & Concrete Impregnating Paint “Profi Bruk Paint” by TM “Bayris” is designed for the decoration, protection and restoration of paving blocks, kerbstones and other vibro-pressed concrete products. It can also be used for decorating and protecting absorbent concrete substrates and mineral-based facing products.

“Profi Bruk Paint” strengthens painted surfaces, protects them from harmful weather conditions and reduces the accumulation of dust and dirt. It helps inhibit the growth of moss, algae and lichens. The product offers excellent UV colour stability, strong adhesion to the substrate and deep penetrating properties, providing a subtle satin sheen. It also contains a special anti-slip additive.

Surface preparation

Before application, the substrate must be sound, clean, dry, grease-free and free from dust and sand. Dust and loose particles should be removed by sweeping, blowing or vacuum cleaning.

For maximum cleaning efficiency, especially in hard-to-reach areas and on heavily soiled surfaces, the use of “Profi Bruk Cleaner” by TM Bayris is recommended. If efflorescence, moss or lichens are present, use specialised products such as “Efflorescence & Dirt Remover” and “Moss & Lichen Remover” by TM Bayris. These products should be applied only after mechanical cleaning and before using Profi Bruk Cleaner.

After cleaning, rinse the surface thoroughly with water and allow it to dry completely. Insufficient or uneven drying may affect the final colour and appearance of the coating. Any contamination, particularly oil stains, may reduce adhesion.

Application

The product is supplied ready for use. Before application, stir thoroughly using a low-speed mixer until a homogeneous consistency is achieved.

Apply 2–3 coats using a brush or roller. For the first coat, the product may be diluted with up to 10% clean water. Subsequent coats should be applied undiluted. The interval between coats should be 2–4 hours depending on weather conditions.

To ensure colour consistency on large areas, use the wet-on-wet method and apply material from the same production batch or mix different batches together before use. Application and drying should not take place during adverse weather conditions such as fog, rain, frost or strong winds.

The optimum substrate temperature during application is between +15°C and +25°C. Do not apply at temperatures below +5°C. The final decorative effect depends on the number of coats applied and the texture of the substrate. Two coats are recommended for dark colours and 2–3 coats for lighter shades.

Clean all tools with water immediately after use.

Attention!

Failure to follow the application instructions may reduce the durability and performance of the coating.

The manufacturer guarantees compliance with the declared technical specifications. Any modification of the product, misuse or application contrary to the instructions may significantly affect its performance. Suitability for specific substrates and compatibility with other materials should always be verified through trial application. The manufacturer accepts no liability for direct or indirect damages arising from conditions beyond its control.

The colour range consists of 8 of the most popular ready-made colours. The colour of the liquid product differs from the final colour achieved after application and complete drying.
