Description & Purpose
Epoxy Floor Adhesive Hardener "EPOXY FLOOR ADHESIVE" by "Bayris" (Component B, formulated with modified polyamine) is an essential hardener designed specifically for use with Component A (Base). Upon mixing, it chemically reacts with the resin base to form a durable, seamless, clear thermosetting protective coating. An integral component of the EPOXY PRO TM BAYRIS system.
Characteristics
VOC content complies with regulatory requirements (limit: up to 30 g/l, actual ready-to-use content: up to 20 g/l). Do not mix with other materials, water, or solvents. Do not use for any purpose other than specified on the label.
Application Note! Must be mixed with Component A in strict ratio: A:B = 100:50 by weight (or 67% Component A : 33% Component B). A 5 kg pack of Component B is sized to mix perfectly with 10 kg of Component A.
Application Method
Add Component B to Component A and mix thoroughly using a low-speed mechanical stirrer (250–350 rpm) for 5–10 minutes. The mixture pot life is approximately 90 minutes at +20°C. For full surface preparation and topcoat instructions, refer to Component A documentation.
Storage & Shelf Life
Store in original tightly sealed containers at temperatures between +5°C and +30°C. Protect from direct sunlight, heat sources, and frost.
Shelf life: 24 months from manufacture date under recommended storage conditions.
Safety Precautions
Since this product contains an active epoxy hardener, standard safety practices should be followed during use. Keep out of reach of children and read the application instructions carefully before starting work.
Always wear protective gloves and safety eyewear when mixing and applying the product. In case of skin contact, wash thoroughly with soap and water. IF IN EYES: Rinse cautiously with water for several minutes (remove contact lenses if present and easy to do) and seek medical advice if needed. Dispose of contents and packaging in accordance with local environmental regulations.
