Beware of Counterfeit Products! How to Identify Genuine BAYRIS Products

Dear customers and partners, over the past several months there has been a significant increase in cases of copying and blatant counterfeiting of BAYRIS branded products. Previously, it was possible to find so-called “products” in retail outlets with similar, and in some cases almost completely copied packaging designs, differing only in the absence of the BAYRIS logo and manufacturer details. However, counterfeit products have now appeared on the Ukrainian market in the form of plasticisers featuring identical labels and even displaying the details of the BAYRIS Group manufacturing company – WEMACO.

Nevertheless, these counterfeit products still have several significant differences:

1. Counterfeit products are packaged in white (semi-transparent) containers or containers of other colours.

2. Counterfeit canisters and containers are fitted with black caps (or caps of other colours).

3. The production date and batch number are printed on paper stickers.

Original BAYRIS plasticisers and admixtures for concrete and mortars are packaged exclusively in silver-coloured containers and jars with silver caps. Since mid-2018, the production date and batch number have been printed directly onto the packaging using an automated filling line. In certain cases, products may still carry stickers showing the production date and batch number (for example, remaining distributor stock, production line maintenance periods, etc.); however, the packaging itself is always silver in colour.
